How to Prepare for Your First Facial

A facial is one of the most restorative gifts you can give your skin — and yourself. A little preparation helps you get the most from every minute.

Before Your Appointment

  • Arrive with a clean face if possible, or let us cleanse you — both are fine.
  • Avoid introducing new active products (retinoids, strong acids) 3–5 days before a peel or microneedling.
  • Stay hydrated and avoid heavy alcohol the night before.
  • Note any allergies, medications, or recent procedures so we can adapt the treatment.

During the Treatment

Communicate. Tell your esthetician about pressure, temperature, or any discomfort. This is your time — we want you completely comfortable.

Aftercare

Follow the specific aftercare we provide. Generally: gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Skip intense workouts, saunas, and actives for 24–48 hours after deeper treatments.

We look forward to welcoming you.
